This training program (in three different
formats*) provides IPC Training Certification in basic ESD Control for
your electronics assembly operators; those people involved in the
technical creation of electronics assemblies.
It covers the physics of static electricity, how static charges damage
electronic components, the importance of personal grounding, wrist
straps / shoe grounding / testing, safe clothing, conductive smocks, ESD-safe
work areas, elimination of static generating materials, controlling
charge build-ups, activities that create static electricity, and proper
handling / storage / transportation of ESD sensitive devices.
This innovative
web program uses streaming video (WMV) for the Window's Media Player,
and includes Review Questions with remediation to help prepare you for
the Final Exam. A grade of 70% or better on
the exam entitles you to a Certificate of
Completion, as part of our "Training Certification" program.
This certificate will be generated automatically and emailed to you, and
will serve as evidence of competency for ISO training requirements.
