ESD Control for Electronics Assembly Operators

This training program (in three different formats*) provides IPC Training Certification in basic ESD Control for your electronics assembly operators; those people involved in the technical creation of electronics assemblies.

It covers the physics of static electricity, how static charges damage electronic components, the importance of personal grounding, wrist straps / shoe grounding / testing, safe clothing, conductive smocks, ESD-safe work areas, elimination of static generating materials, controlling charge build-ups, activities that create static electricity, and proper handling / storage / transportation of ESD sensitive devices.

This innovative web program uses streaming video (WMV) for the Window's Media Player, and includes Review Questions with remediation to help prepare you for the Final Exam.  A grade of 70% or better on the exam entitles you to a Certificate of Completion, as part of our "Training Certification" program.  This certificate will be generated automatically and emailed to you, and will serve as evidence of competency for ISO training requirements.

The course is served by MicroVideo Learning Systems, Inc. in cooperation with IPC.* There is a streaming video sample link on the Sign Up page to test for video compatibility with this course.  You may also see the complete video review of this training program before you purchase.
