From time to time, MicroVideo may introduce new products and services. To the extent that these new products and services affect this policy, this policy will be updated. Please see item number 5 for more details.

1. What is a MicroVideo - IPC Training course, what are the system requirements, and why is my information needed?

IPC Inc.'s training courseware has the following System Requirements:
Software Components Required:
Microsoft Windows 98 Service Pack 2 (or higher, such as Windows 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista.)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later
Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4 or later
Adobe Reader (required for certificates issued upon successful course completion)
Hardware Components Required:
Pentium IV 1 GHz PC with 128 MB RAM, minimum 800x600 screen resolution, 16 bit video, 16 bit sound

Because the MicroVideo - IPC Training course is web-based, it requires the use of a password, a valid email address as a login, a first and last name and billing address and a valid credit card to process payment for service. Therefore, at a minimum, we require such necessary information during the registration process.

2. What information does MicroVideo gather / track and how is it used?

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Because of the nature of our product, we must collect personal information from users during the registration process, including first and last names, a valid credit card to process payment for service, an email address to be used as a login, a billing address and a password. Your email address may be used to send you periodic email communication from MicroVideo, but you may opt out of this process at any time.

For subscription clients, we may also use the information collected to deliver services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and to update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us.

Because of our commitment to present the best possible product to all our users, we may track the category of services selected by our individual users as well as all information pertaining to user satisfaction. To ensure the quality of our product, we reserve the right to maintain evaluation and feedback records.

SESSION RECORDS: To maintain our quality of service and to assist in the analysis of product performance, we may also gather data on connection information, including the timing and size of all packets sent over the Internet during a session. The gathered information is used only to ensure the highest quality experience possible for IPC Training courses.

SURVEYS: In addition to required member information, we may conduct surveys and ask users to volunteer demographic information to be used on an aggregate basis for internal market research, presentation to advertisers and joint research projects with outside companies involved in product development. We use such information to better focus our product and personalize the scope of services offered to each individual user. Such information will not be passed to third parties without your prior consent unless where required by applicable law.

TRAFFIC PATTERNS: We may also track aggregate traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with personally identifiable data about individual users. We may track domain names, browser types and MIME type. Such information will not be passed to third parties without your prior consent unless where required by applicable law.

COOKIES: A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. We use cookies for session identification purposes only. We do not store passwords or any personally identifiable information about you in the cookies.

3. With whom does MicroVideo share the information?

MicroVideo will only provide your information to third parties in order to perform the necessary functions on your behalf. Examples include processing credit card payments, sending postal mail and e-mail, analyzing student data. IPC will not use it for other purposes, such as third party marketing.

Your personal information, for login to IPC courses, cannot be changed once you have submitted the information.

You can opt-out of receiving IPC email communications at anytime by following the instructions "To Remove" contained in every email.

6. How does MicroVideo protect my information from loss, misuse or alteration?

MicroVideo uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of personally identifiable information, including encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). However, MicroVideo is not liable for loss of passwords due to user carelessness.
